NASCAR team needs a good pit crew,
so too does the profesional barbecue
team. This is where Extreme Roasters
gets its competitive edge. Let's take a
closer look at the key players and get
an idea as to their duties.

"Pitmaster"

Troy Conner is the head cook, with a "Gordon
Ramsey" like attitude, he gets final say over
every aspect of the contest. From the purchase
of supplies to the final turn in, it's a good idea to
check with him first.

"Queen of the Greens"

Sherri Comer holds this crown, it is her
responsibility to ensure that the food is
presented to the judges in the best way possible.
Lettuce and parsley are her sword and septor as
she primps and preens the meats to look their
very best.

"Security"

Eric Conner Truely the "mouth of the new
south" it is Eric's job to engage in mental
warfare with the surrounding teams.
Unsolicited advice and unwelcome opinion are
just a few of his many weapons.

Scott Welman, standing over 6'8" this big man
has two jobs. First and most importantly Scott
uses his famous " touch for the Dutch" to
prepare delicious breakfast and award winning
desserts. Secondly he has to help Eric in the
unlikely event that the mental warfare turns
physical.

"Fun Runners"

Michelle Werner, half bar tender half extreme
waitress it falls on Michelle to keep the drinking
glasses full and get the turn in boxes safely into
the judges hands....on time!

Tina Conner-Welman, A.K.A "Tina the
Wheelman Welman" Tina is called upon time
and again to make many an offsite run for last
minute supplies, more beer, a forgotten child,
even to the local hospital if need be.

"The Posse"
Grandparents, children, in-laws and out-laws
these are people who have always supported
the team efforts and who, at a moments
notice,may be called upon to weigh in with their
opinions on taste/tenderness/appearance
